Jeannette V. Stabler





JEANNETTE VAUGHT STABLER Mother of Eight (1919 - 2009) Of Columbia, MD, died on December 4, 2009. Mrs. Stabler formerly resided in Montgomery County. She was the wife of late Sydney Stabler, Jr. Mrs. Stabler held a BS degree in Education from University of MD. She worked as secretary and administrative assistant in various Montgomery County offices, and at University of MD. and Montgomery College. She was a docent at Glenview Mansion at Rockville Civic Center and a Sandy Spring Museum volunteer. She belonged to Rockville Women''s Club, B.P.W., D.A.R., P.E.O., and Kiwanis. She served as election judge for Montgomery County Board of Elections, organist/choir director at St. Bartholomew''s Church in Laytonsville, and choir member at Interfaith Chapel in Leisure World. Survivors include children William Stabler (Silver Spring), Peggy Johnson (Boyds), Mark Stabler (CA), Irene Bennetts (Germantown), Isabel Goodier (Lutherville), Edward Stabler (VA), Andrew Stabler (CA), Paul Stabler (Gaithersburg),16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
